Bluffer’s In Need helped at least 60 LBES and LBMS families pay for necessities like prescription glasses for kids, doctor’s appointments, utility bills, and food and clothing this year.
Through BIN we also paid for 10+ 8th graders to go on the annual Washington D.C. trip.

We're honored to have funded La Liga Puro again this year. The league has grown to over 300 participants, including an additional team in the oldest division.
2024
MTF provides grants to Lake County families to fund experiences like summer camp, sports teams, and music lessons, as well as much needed clothing, safe baby supplies, and medical care. Our donations were able to help send up to 50 children to camp for the summers of 2023 and 2024.
We partnered with The Alliance for Excellence's Bluffer's In Need Fund to ensure all LBMS 6th graders can attend the Springfield trip and all 8th graders can attend the D.C. trip this year. We sponsored 13 8th graders to go to D.C., with many of them flying on an airplane for the first time!
We partnered with North Chicago School District 187 and Puro Football Newspaper to help fund their low-cost soccer league for youth 4-12, which is in its second year. Over 250 children participate each season, and each child receives free equipment like shin guards and cleats.
